I've heard that the tempur pedict bed cause people to sweat at night because of the material it is...it doesn't breathe. If I was going to spend alot of money, i would go for the sleep number bed.

Neither. The SAT beds are the best! They provide the proper support that is best for circulation and the material breathes well and does not collect sweat or bacteria. It is the only bed that is approved by Medicare for people that have to spend a lot of time in bed. Check it out at Comfortdirect.com

I was not entirely happy with our SelectComfort bed. The difference between our chamber preferences was significant, and the middle support couldn't keep the more inflated half in place, so it kept sliding toward the center.
We kept it for a while, and it was somewhat comfortable, but we changed it for a regular flatbed.
