Do u prefer paper bags or plastic bags at your local grocer? And why?

Plastic, because I save them and reuse them as trash bags or packing bags or lots of things. They're much more versatile than paper bags and more flexible and easier to transport. They are a lot smaller and lighter, too.

Plastic, because I have a cat and plastic bags are good when I scoop the cat box! I can scoop the stuff right into the bag, tie it up and throw it in the trash.

Paper. It's biodegradable. I have less bags. Those little handles on the plastic break and they hurt your finger because you always pick up too many at a time.

I use both. I use paper bags to recycle my newspapers and my co-mingled recycling and I use plastic bags for bathroom garbage bags and lunch bags. So I get whichever one I happen to be running low on.

plastic is good for cat poo and dirty diapers.They also are good to line little trash cans.
