Probably the best strategy is not to take it personally, as the person is not fully responsible for their behaviour. Even better, get 'curious' and try to find out what is underneath that person's behaviour? Because 'crazy or not' we still all act for a reason. If the person is psychotic or really out of it and in their own world, their reason is something in their own head, so hopefully they are on medication to help them for that. Otherwise, the person thinks something that may not even be true or only partly so. Usually if the person cannot get a rise out of you or a response, they usually go to 'bug' someone else, so hold your own cool or find someone else to let off steam with or help you understand what's going on in both of you. There is some trigger in you that you need to be aware of so more in control in your own life. Good luck!

Crazy - think about what you are saying. What is crazy. Is it just because the person is different than you. Remember we are all different. So who is it say exactly what is crazy. Maybe you are making them mad. Something to think about?????????

First of all..NO one can MAKE you mad. YOU may CHOOSE to get ANGRY..and it may well be justified. Animals go mad..Humans get angry. It is part of our psyche....If someone is truly not mentally well, it is up to YOU to show your compassion to their situation. If you do not choose, to,,.Distance yourself..If you choose to stay around..and still arent happy..I guess you can CHOOSE to get angry..Sounds like a teen problem?? If so, work it out with them..They may be older, but they arent "crazy"!!!(mom and dad)..if this person truly is "crazy", as you call it..call your local mental health agency for support and further answers.

Are they crazy as in mentally ill, or crazy as is always doing erratic things?

Either way, if it isn't someone that you have to have constant contact with, just try to ignore them.

Elaborate.
They are crazy. Stay away maybe?
If you get mad, they win.
Let them go.

Hey,
I'm sorry, i know how it is to be mad, but now be able to show it cause you know it isn't their fault. what you really got to do, is even though it hurts you to not be able to state your opinion, you got to just look the other way and just say "it's ok" even though it makes you so upset. you got to do it cause you love and care for this person and you want to make them happy, and you know that they aren't trying to hurt you, but that they love you too.

You need to keep telling yourself that they are sick not crazy. Keep telling yourself they can't help what's going on in their heads and then get them medicated and distance yourself from the situation. If you live with them GOOD-LUCK
