HOLD ON TO YOUR JOY-STICKS!! LOL

A large truck is crossing a bridge 1 mile long. The bridge can only hold 14000 lbs, which is the exact weight of the truck. The truck makes it half way across the bridge and stops. A bird lands on the truck. Does the bridge collapse? Give me a reason.

Hmm... what could it be?

wont happen if the truck is not moving - form an engineering point of view

moreover, the weight of the bird is too less , it would be less than the fuel consumed in the .5 mile

no; the amount of weight is for MOVING vehicles, which exerts more downward force than a stopped vehicle. Therefore the bird would hardly make up for the downward force of the driving truck, and the bridge wouldn't collapse.

The weight of bird is equal to the weight of fuel consumed.

So it doesnt collapse
