Well you could count sheep. Or you could read a book that usually makes me go to sleep. BUT LISTEN, YOU GAVE ME AN ANSWER FOR CLUB PENGUIN. EMAIL ME AT starrchanell@yahoo.com to set up a meeting place, and you know, we could do stuff together, ok?

The more things you do before bed that's like a stimuli, i.e. being on the computer, your mind will continue to work after you have gone to bed. Try doing something relaxing before bed, like read or listen to soothing music, or those nature sounds CDs. Maybe take a warm bath, and just soak. Try to empty your mind of all the day's stress and worries. Maybe even try a warm glass of milk. Make sure your room is dark and that all annoying sounds, like water dripping in the faucet, can not be heard. If that doesn't work try one of those eye covers so it makes it totally dark and put those ear plugs in your ears. If all else fails, go to your doctor for a simple physical and tell them you are having trouble sleeping. Good luck.

I use to have the same problem so what I did was one of two things,,,one is to take a good book to bed with you and the other , is to watch TV with the sound down low and if you have a sleep timer on the TV is a good feature, cuz you can put the timer on, and shortly after you drift off the TV will turn off as well, saves on hydro as well:) Good Luck and I sure hope this is of help to you, Sweetie......sweet dreams:) Tricia

It has been found in research that music which has 50 beats per minute promotes sleep. Most of the music that has that beat is New Age music so get a cd of some New Age and try it. (Or if you have Dish, it's on channel 977).

you are just an insomniac, i am one as well...yes it does suck and it is very hard to change...just try to clear everything from your mind when you try to sleep and the counting sheep thing doesn't work, i know, my sister is the same way, she is 13 and we give her half of a sleeping pill b4 she gets ready for bed, it helps her, but im immune to them.
