I'm sure we can all agree that picking a day to stop driving just won't work.........

With that said,Why not Try this?

If EVERYONE Stopped Buying gas from Exxon/Mobil(They're making the Most Money) for 1 Month I Guaruntee they will drop there Prices.

They would have to,then to be able to compete, other companies would follow suit.........

Instead of Blaming others(instead of Supply and Demand)We as Consumers need to accept some Responsibility on this Issue......

We as Consumers can set the Price by Boycotting Exxon/Mobil completely.

So What Say YOU?

Are any of you willing to Stop buying Gas from Exxon/Mobil for 1 Month?

I Stopped a few months ago.So have my Family(entire family)and friends too...........

And their telling their friends to stop.Word of Mouth can only go so far though. With all the People here,You would be surprised at the difference you can make.......

So you can continue complaining OR you can actually do something..........................

All you're doing is sending the profits to BP and Chevron (in fact, it makes me suspect that perhaps you work for one of them). BTW, BP are the ones who currently have trouble in their lines, and are the latest excuse for the increased prices.

What we all need to do is STOP BUYING GAS. If we all were serious about biking, walking, busing and carpooling to work, demand would go down, and they'd have no choice but to lower prices in order to get our business.

Just buying gas from the competition has very little effect overall.

i drive a scooter. i'm all for doin it on the cheap. i think gas prices should go up tho. that's the only way to get the hummer drivin soccer moms that refuse to carpool and the business joe who is too cool for public transport to rethink the 4 car lifestyle.

I don't buy Exxon Mobil anyway. I buy Diamond Shamrock... well, they recently changed their name to Valero.

It will never work. The influx of customers (demand) to the other gas stations will cause them to raise their prices on gasoline (supply).
