How about a true story instead. I'm a navy wife and I get lonely when my husband is gone all the time, so I asked him if I could get a pet guinea pig to keep me company. He said "Sure, but only if we can call him Charles." I said, okay, whatever...so we got a piggie and named him Charles. A few weeks later my husband pulled up a couple of websites about guinea pigs and pointed out to me that they do better in pairs, and that we better get another one. I said, okay, whatever...so we got another piggie and brought him home and I asked my husband what he wanted to name this one.
"Norris," he said, "And by the way, I think we ought to start calling Charles by his nickname, Chuck."
