Lebanon has, I believe, the highest population (by percentage) of Christians in the Middle East. They make up approximately 39% of Lebanon's population.

There are many Christians in Lebanon. There is no state religion in that country.

Well, I used to live in northern part of Israel b4 moving to Italy and as far as I know it was a Lebanese Missionary who saved me and brought me to Christ. He was my freind for 2 years before he got lost, according to their statistics of 1999, Lebanon at that time had 3.5 - 4.2 million Christians. Now, it's a different story, because of them moving from one place 2 other.

well most of lebanese are christians ! and is the government ? yes the government itself is a christian and is the President ? yes he is christian too ! :) and there are about 63 religions in lebanon :P no for real they are 63 :P but the most are christians :D about 45% :D then Muslims and Dorouz :D
