contacts take a while to put in after the first week or so. i cant really feel mine and it also takes a while for your eyes to adjust. the bad thing is that if you sleep in them then your eyes get messed up.

glasses are nice but the can break and fall off. and if you do go with glasses then go with ones that will look good on you

Glasses are a lot less work.
Contacts look better.

Had both, I much prefer the look of contacts but mostly go with glasses because I can't stand the 15-minute washing ritual every night. Also, contacts are really bad if you're exposed to smoke, fumes, or fine dust.

i've worn both for many years, soft contacts for almost 25. i can see much better with the contacts. because "the correction" is right on the eye everything seems sharper and clearer to me than with glasses. but, there is the down side of the cleaning, etc. right now i'm not using either, even though i'm near-sighted, but i guess not too badly. and, it's a treat not having to bother with all the fuss, etc. i should say i was happy to get the contacts for use when doing sports--much, much more convenient than glasses. so if that's a consideration for you, definitely contacts.

pros
glasses: the right shape of frame makes u look better, money saving.
contacts: it's more practical, u don't have to wipe it like glasses.

cons
glasses: heavier, have to wipe it if it's dirty or wet.
contacts: more expensive, n need more care when u put em on or off.

i prefer contacts anyway, cos it's quite easy when u get used to it. i use disposable ones (there are the daily, weekly, n monthly type, after that u have to change to new pair of contacts).
i'm actually a lazy gal, so i wear my contacts even when i sleep, not taking em off for a month or so, or until my eyes get sore. u just need to keep your eyes a little bit wet by using special eyedrop. i don't use it, i just blink my eyes a few times.
just use what's comfortable for you.

:)

i wear both and i love my glasses when i've had a long night and need to cover up those bags but when you want to be "grown n sexy" thats when i throw in the contacts-you have to get use to both...and depending on the secne-you may need you glasses(i.e smoke, dust etc)but glasses can also break easy..but you have to make both work for you!
