If someone handed over their kids and said "You raise them." Would you?
If a relative left their kids to you if they died, would you keep them?
Would you take someone's kids away from them if they were some kind of addict, or welfare bum? (The ones that make governement assistance a career)

First off, to hand over the care of children down to someone else must speak volumes of that person's character, that the parent(s) would have such trust & faith in that person to give a better life to their child is major.
Personally, I'm not certain I can handle such a great responsibility since my current situation is pretty chaotic! But to do it alone? I'm gonna need an extra pair of hands, lol.
If they're (kids) family? Gladly. Apart from family... seriously, I would probably hand them over to welfare by making sure they're safe & well cared for by a good family.

Yes, I would raise them. No, I don't have the authority to take someone's kids away. Being a welfare bum doesn't in and of itself make for a poor parent you know. Poor citizen, yes.

You will never understand until you become a parent yourself. Kids are not like animals, they are people with personalities and they have needs of feeling accepted and loved.
I would keep the kids if someone couldn't care for them and asked me to. It would be the right thing to do.
If the kids kept being rejected then who's to say they wouldn't turn into some criminal or psycho murderer from the obvious psychological trauma.

Yes I would ! Kids need to be loved and cared for and if their parents don't want the job then I would. I have. And the rewards are so much better than the monetary kind. Yes it is a big responsibility and I would advise alot of thought about it.

Yes, if I was a child I would want from a relative to do the same for my brother and sister too. Someone took time out of their day help raise you why not return the blessing.

If I knew without a shadow of a doubt that they wouldn't be ripped away from me I would take them in a heartbeat. Gosh, I might even take them if I didn't know they wouldn't be taken. Children are awesome!

If a family member passed away and I was the person they thought was up to the task, yes, I would do my best. Any other reasons, no.

i raise 2 kids that aren't mine every day. my husband has custody of his kids... he has 3, but the oldest is off to college now. i have 4 kids of my own but i love his kids as if they are my own. i would take anyones kids that wanted to give them to me. i love kids! i would never want to take a child that their parent didn't voluntarily give up, however... i think the fight would kill me... i'm not good with fighting!
