but then if I just keep my hand there in front of her she starts nibbling and licking my hand. Is this good what does it mean? Is she getting used to me or does she like me? she is using her beak too but she doesn't hurt my hand. Thank you for your help

She is just getting used to you. Practice this several times a day and have lots of patience. She will soon learn to step up on your finger and not be afraid. You can't rush them! :)

She's still traumatized from the pet shop. It'll take a while for her to get used to the fact that people aren't going to grab her forcefully. You have to show her love and then she will not be so scared........

if she's nibbling on your finger, it means she's starting to like you. as you become better friends, she'll start nibbling on other things too, like earrings

It's good shes getting used to you. Try getting her to step up onto your finger.
