Ok I really want to jog because I know it's a great way to lose weight quickly. Is there a certain way to start out to ease my way into it so my body can adapt quickly? What has worked for you?

First...make sure that you exercise on a regular basis. If you hadn't exercised for a while and start jogging right away, then you could injure yourself. But if you exercise regularly, then you're right on your way! :)
I was never really a jogger/runner, but I came across this website that has helped me tremendously. Hope it helps. Good luck!

Start with a lot of warm up, make sure you feel sweat. Stretch those legs well. Run with a rhythm and equip with a zen creative mp3 player. This will motivate you to go longer. cheers and enjoy your run.

if your not used to a lot of physical activity, you could do some jump rope. Also be sure to warm up, and keep a good pace, don't sprint at the beginning and use all your energy.
