I think I might like a career in Physical Therapy. Please tell me more about the profession. I am a high school student trying to decide what I want to study in college.

Physical Therapy is an ok course I guess. But you will me immersed in Anatomy and Physiology of the human body. It's quite challenging. I'm a nurse so I reccomend nursing pays very well too.

I am a teen who just got out of PT for a broken forearm. I thought the career would be depressing. Physical trainers are around unhealthy old people who love to complain and/or brag in my opinion. They simply give instructions on what exercises to do, how many reps, and sometimes stretch the muscle. Also, I listened to a approximately 26 year old female complain on how she went to college to become a physical therapist and only lives paycheck to paycheck.

I recommend becoming a doctor, nurse, or something that has more variety in the workplace and a better paying salary.

Hope it helps! :-)

there is substantial overlap interior both professions. As a generalization with many exceptions, actual treatment in little ones is directed at convalescing the function of huge muscle tissue in rehabilitation from strokes, fractures and injuries. also in little ones with certain congenital neuromuscular abnormalities. Occupational treatment is mostly directed to small muscle tissue in touch contained in the performance of certain projects. protecting a pencil, choosing up small gadgets with the palms, taking off a can, etc. are yet some examples. i am going to't talk to salaries. PT now calls for a PhD.
