Until there is the possibility of any of your brave military personnel being killed, or any innocent Iraqi civilians being killed, or the situation in Iraq becoming worse than it was, or the international community protests against the military being sent to Iraq… Oops, too bloody late! More than two and a half thousand dead troops, and 40,000 plus dead Iraqi civilians, and with Iraq now on the brink of a civil war, and after millions of people throughout the world having protested against the invasion… the time to bring the troops home was the moment they left your shores!
If you are unable to prove that the presence of US Military Personnel in Iraq is bringing peace to that country, and that its continued presence is not contributing to further civilian casualties, the troops should be brought home now!

well, if u r bush, if u ake em out, then the tailban would regroup, and try invading, ultimtely, we would annihilate them, but would have a lot of casualties. either take our troops out and turn iraq into a crater, or leave em there for a while. o yeah, dont worry bout the oil, give a lot of funding to nuclear fucion research, it produces no radiation, literally runs on water, and creates metals that would be useful to us. also, it generates a lot more energy than fission (what nuclear power plants use now) then, make more electric cars. its the way to go. oil is gonna run out anyway. also, put a damn limit on how many kids a family can have. some people are popping out 10 of em in a year. make the limit 1, then the populus will half, and half again, do it for about 200 years, and we wont ruin the planet.

Until the insurgency has calmed, the new govt. has things semi in control, and the risk of a coup is at bay. Unfortunately, we can't just go in make a mess and leave. We have got to clean up after ourselves. If we left now, the insurgents would start some holy war, put the country in worse shape and we'd end up having to go back to end that, basically starting from scratch. I want' my husband and the other soldiers home more than any civilian will ever understand, but I'd rather him have to stay there for a few extra months then have to go back in another 6 months for yet another year long tour.

I am in the Military and if the troops were pulled now it would be a slap in the face to all of those you have lost their lives in Iraq.
Other than the AWOL treasonous cowards who move to Canada to get out of the Uniformed Services we want to finish what we started.
I am going to Iraq soon and I am not going to back down now, so why should the Civilian populous back down now ?

That is the question that just cost Lieberman nomination! ( just heard on the news)
Who knows? If we leave right now the country will become a terrorist state, and if we stay more and more troops will be killed. Bush really got us in a mess!

as long as it takes to ensure that Iraq can take care of itself, then we should send home our troops that are on duty, and send fresh troops to monitor operations. and since according to many including myself, WWIII is right around the corner, because N.Korea, Iran, Syria, and China seem to be stirring up trouble by their support for terrorism. we need to increase military spending, on weapons, technology, and eveything else that would be useful for a war. in this war communism, and terrorist will be eliminated to restore peace to the world. we need to prepare. which means troops that are in duty need a bit of rest, and fresh troops are placed where they need to be, which is on duty. the world is undergoing a change, and we will be the ones to change it. America and our allies must be prepared to join and counter terrorism, and communist nations.

I don't think impersonating the president is such a good idea. However, to answer your question....We need to get the job finished quickly, but correctly. Then, we can leave and focus on the other problems of the world (e.g. north korea.)
