whenever i talk to my girlfriend i never have anything to say... any help?

awww i feel bad for her then, so here are some ideas
1) ask her how her day went
2) always ask her quesetions bout HER, girls love talkin bout themselves, even if u dont want to listin, STILL act liek u care

Did you have this problem with other girls? If so, maybe you need to brush up on your conversational skills. I don't mean that as an insult. It's more common that you might think. Does she converse well with you when you do have something to say? Maybe try thinking of things you don't know about her that you'd like to know. Don't talk about yourself too much, but don't be afraid to relate to her. Ask her about stuff you know she likes. Be genuinely interested in her as a person. That's the best advise I can give, but it still takes practice. Especially if you're kind of shy.

GOOD! You should hardly be talking at all! Your job is to listen, keep the conversation light and make her laugh. Just ask generic questions, shut up and listen. Is she the talker in the pair of you? If not, there must be a heck of a lot of silences! In any case, when you can't think of anything to say, just think back to things you did that day, people you talked to, and just start talking about that ... it might get a conversation going.

Yeah she's not the one for you. When I met my sweety, we talked for 5 to 6 hours strait. We found it hard to hang the phone up. You know like you couldn't hang up on her and we would tease each other who would hang up first. Because neither of us could hang up first. We have so much in common. We've been married for 13 years now. Theres no need for the phone now because we are with each other every free moment. You need to learn to open up and expose yourself.

Also try thinking of some topics to talk about before, but if it still to awkward, then she's probably not interested in you and you need to find someone new.

i hav the same prob. w/ my bf, jus go out an do new things with friends and u guys can talk about that, or u could go out an do new things together, lik hiking or mt. bike riding, and stuff lik that

well if you have anything in comman then talk about those things
bring up other things you like and find out what she likes
if things still dont work then maybe you two arent rite for each other

You need to find things that you have in common. If you don't have anything to talk about, you and her are not a good match.
