Interesting responses given but not much knowledge.
Lets start with some historical fact. Israel is the man named Jacob, renamed by YHVH, but this Name of GOD was still unknown by Jacob/Israel, and not revealed till GOD informed Moses that Moses was to be the Savior and deliverer of the Hebrew people from Egyptian slavery. From Israel, the people is to come the Moschiach, or Deliverer who will bring about a world wide peace as prophesied by Isaiah.
Now, lets examine the Hebrew Source Text, otherwise misnamed as the Old Testament, and so some degree mistranslated by the Christian Church apologists and early manuscript censors, particularly, Eusibius whose duty was to make a Canon, or Rule of ecclesiastical writings that chiefly supported his conception of what and wherefore for the Roman Catholic Church in its early formation. Where in the Hebrew Bible then, do we find any reference to an Anti CHrist? Uhhhhn,,,ok it's not there. That gives you a good idea. IF GOD deemed it important enought to tell Israel, and Moses, about an Anti Christ, you can believe that it would have been written in the Hebrew Bible. BUt then where is this infamous character to be found.... ? Ah ha,,,there it is, in the New Testament. THree references and maybe by inference a fourth....all loosely associating with the Devil or the Satan.
Now, a close examination of the New Testament, and it reveals itself to be a collection of texts, written by unknown authors in something of a hundred year time frame, after the supposed life events of the Jesus. Yet, there are no historical records or evidence of such a person actually existing at that time. The records of over three hundred known contemporary historians fail yield any word of this paragon of virtue and miracles apart from the obvious forgery inserted into the Antiquities of Josephus by, it is speculated, Eusibius, whose duty was to try to substantiate the new Leading Christian Church figurehead, Jesus. The gospels and epistles, all written by unknown authors, attempt to present a new religion to the world of the Third Century, after Constantinius became Emperor of Rome and declared his preference for the Major Religion to be the newer Christian Church. These gospels and epistles, all bear remarkable resemblance to several of the major pagan religions that were very popular in the middle east during that era, and as have been researched, demonstrate the capacity of the early Christian CHurch to adopt such pagan teachings as were part of the culture popular beliefs. SUch practice is known as Synergism. The fact that these early Christian writers, were having a very difficult time selling the populace on this new religion, necessitated adaptation of a very old theme in religion, and that is the use of fear as a tactic to persuade the populace to accept the new religion. Ante, (IN PLACE OF) was revised to ANTI, as against CHrist. But the word, Christ, is a Greek term which means, Anoint, or Anointed, TO term it correctly, the name, Jesus CHrist, means, Jesus Anointedl. If a person or group of persons were to object to this Jesus as the anointed, or Messiah, all that person needs to do is review the Gospels, the supposed life events of Jesus, which say that Jesus came not to destroy the Law, but to fulfil...." SO we look in the Hebrew Bible for the instructions on Anointing and we find that all the Kings and Priests were Anointed according to the Torah or Law. THen we look to see where and when Jesus was Anointed according to the TORAH. and lo and behold, no such anointing .... SO anyone that points out that Jesus was never anointed, is acftually a ANTI Christ.....someone that agrees that Jesus is the MEssiah, without an anointing, is contradicting the Torah or Instructions of Moses. BUt dont let a little thing like false interpretation, or fabrication of facts, or mistranslation and misinterpretation of the Hebrew Bible stand in the way of worshiping a man,,,,,also contradicting the Torah and Tanakh writings.....hey,,,its a long accepted custom in the Christian church to adopt virtually all the other pagan customs. Does that make a Anti Christ a potential real person who will try to rule the world...only according to CHristian writings, and a close examination reveals that the gospels are full of various other contradictions as well. Luther thought the Pope was a perfect example of the Ante Christ....so much for clarity of understanding...Luther also persecuted Jews, but no Lutheran CHurch ever acknowledges that he was a pure Anti Semitic...its now politically correct to say nothing about our ante cedents... Now a last word. No anti Christ, but lots of anti Jews. ITs called Antisemitism. The sin against Abraham, which GOD declared,,,,curse Israel, and be cursed. Bless Israel and be blessed. Let them that have eyes understand. SHalom
