No. The Bible's God, ruler of the universe, runs counter to the American Constitution. He does not support democracy (He rules;Psalms 2,89,110: the King is Yawweh's son), freedom of religion (no other gods allowed) or freedom of speech (no blasphemy). The Bible's god, many believe, will throw the majority into a lake of fire.

Why, if there was a just god, would this deity protect the United States?

Protection should be offered to the innocent and clean-hearted people, not to warmongers and their supporters. So far, that hasn't happened. Just in the last year, how many tens of thousands of people have been mutilated by the violence supported by or committed by the United States?

Why protect a house that He is no longer welcome in?

1. This nation was built on biblical principles. You will find that America has slowly slid down the toilet since the removal of God, prayer and the Bible from schools and government in the last 50+ years. God has slowly removed His hand of protection over America.
2. Man, without God's guidance, always wants to prove it can function without God's wisdom.
It fails almost every time.
3. America was designed to be a republic, not a democracy.

Einstein concluded that evil is the absence of the goodness of God. Wait to the rapture and God cuts man and the devil loose. You will see the absence of good in full force.

What people are trying to keep God out? Out of where? Are we talking prayer in school or the scandal surrounding that Ten Commandments monument in Alabama?

If you are a Christian and believe in the Bible, then you'd know that God has no favorites. He's no respecter of persons...or nations. For Christians, God will protect those who approach Him, regardless of geographical location, nationality or citizenship.

The United States is my homeland, but I don't think God will favor it above other countries or nations.

All nations will be judged by God, including the US, if all of the non believers on here think they will escape judgment they are badly mistaken, and the US will also be judged because of all of the abortions, a nation that was based on the Word of God has in return turned rebellious against him.

Who is trying to keep him out? Are churches not still tax exempt? Has anyone driven churches out of thier community? Stoned the parishioners and killed the preachers?

At worst, people work to prevent this country from turning into another theocracy like Iran. Preventing the spread of religion into government is what we do when we are not a theocracy.

Well I believe that really depends on percentages and fervency.

If the majority try to keep Him in, despite evil governments, lawyers, false priests, atheistic education, etc [that is, the overt organizations and 'ruling class' of our society], who try to keep Him out, I believe He will listen to the majority - regardless of who it is that holds the power! ... and provided thse good people do so fervently, not just as a "She'll be right, Cobber" attitude.

The problem with having the wicked rule is that they make it easier for other bad eggs in society to continue their evil practice, and to gradually, through media influence, etc., convert many others in public into believing their warped beliefs are the way to go in life.

Who even knows if God exists? Show me the evidence.

We can protect the U.S by impeaching Bush. Getting that jacka** out of office will solve some problems.

You cannot look at the current world afairs as good guys versus bad guys. The US does some good thens we do some bad things. God would not protect a government, as it is one of out tools, he protects the individuals with the structure.
