What is the Difference between a Jew (true Jew) and a Muslim?
Do they both deny that Jesus is the True Saviour for us all?
If so what is the difference
why point the finger in one direction?
If I'm wrong sorry you can let me know where I'm wrong

thanks.........God Bless

I am a Christian,so I need to say that in the beginning. According to the Bible both Jews and Christians are supposed to worship the same God. The Jewish scriptures (what we Christians erroniously call the Old Testament) fortell of the Messiah. Jews do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah and are still waiting for Him to come.

The Muslims say they recognize Jesus as a prophet but they don't believe His teachings. The God of the Jews is the same God as the God of Jesus that He called "His Father".

The Muslims say they worship the same God as the Jews and the Christians, but their scriptures, The Quran, says they are to make the entire world Muslim by conquest. Every person in the lands they conquer is to be given the choice of becoming Muslim,
becoming a slave, or death. To be fair, all Muslims don't believe that but most do and it is in their scriptures.

Also, The Quran says that every Muslim man that dies in a Holy War (Jihad) will go directly to heaven and have many women that are virgins to have sex with.

To me, Just because they say they worship the same God, doesn't mean that they do.

As far as finger pointing regarding conflict between Israel and the Arab countries around it; since the founding of the country of Israel in 1948, they have never attacked their Arab neighbors. They have only defended themselves after the Arabs attacked them. The Arab countries have continually attacked Israel and then lied about it, trying to make it sound as if Israel was the aggressor.

The reason that Israel occupies the Golan Heights and the West Bank is that in 1967; Syria, Jordan, and Egypt went to war against Israel. After 6 days, Israel had driven the 3 Arab countries
out of; those areas plus Gaza and The Sinai. The 3 Arab countries saw that they were losing badly and negotiated a "cease fire" with Israel occupying those areas.

Israel would only accept a peace treaty with the 3 countries if they
formally and publicly recognized the right of Israel to exist as a country. After some years, Egypt agreed to this, signed a peace treaty with Israel, the Sinai was returned to Egypt, and Gaza was given to Israel. Neither Syria nor Jordan has ever acknowledged the right of Israel to exist so they are still in a state of war with Israel. That is why Israel still occupies the Golan Heights and the West Bank.

The whole idea of a "Palistinian" people with a right to their own country is a "scam" by the Arab countries. The Arab people who live in the Golan Heights are Syrians and the Arab people that live
in the West Bank are Jordanians. What the Arabs are trying to do through murder, lies, and propaganda, is to regain those areas
without having to recognise Israels right to exist. Also the sworn mission of either most or all of the Arab countries is to destroy the country of Israel and wipe it off the face of the Earth!

Unfortunately, so many people do not know the true history of the conflict that they believe the lies and propaganda of the Arabs.
Also, The TV and newspaper media are so anti Jewish that you won't get the truth from them.

The only reason that I know the truth is that I am 63 years old and
have paid attention to current events since I was a child.

Though they share the great majority of OT Prophets, they dont tell the same stories. Like Jacob is made to be the badguy in the Qu'ran. The Jews have nothing in the Torah about Islam, but the Qu'ran talks a great deal about how wicked Jews and Christians are. That right there is a pretty big difference. If it was a matter of not believing Jesus is the Savior that makes 2 religions the same, then every religion other than Christianity is the same.

JEws are the people who only follow the teachings of Prophet Moses PBUH. They refuse to believe that there could be other prophets after Moses PBUH

Christians belive in Prophet JEsus PBUH and his teachings only. They think he is god or son of god or something (I'm still confused about it.) They do not want to believe that any prophet could come after JEsus.

Muslims believe in Moses, Jesus and the Mohammad (Peace be upon them all). The last Prophet was Mohammad and Mohammad said so too (Moses and Jesus both said prophets will come after them) and the Holy Quran is the Last Revelation of God almighty.

I think u grasp the difference. www.irf.net is a good site for asking queries on Islam.

The similarity is that they both believe in and worship the One God. He is known as Yahweh (Jehovah) to the Jews and as Allah to the Muslims. The difference is that Muslims follow the teachings of their prophet Mohammad and the Jews follow the teachings of the Torah.
