I met this girl Saturday night and got her number. This is the first girl I've actually been excited to call and follow up with in a long time. So anyways, I call her yesterday (Monday night) and it went straight to voicemail. I left a message and right after I did I know I shouldn't have b/c now it's totally out of my hands. She hasn't called back and I know I should probably just let it go but like I said, I saw something in this girl. So should I call, text, or do nothing? Help!

Do Nothing! You have already let her know that you are interested. Sure, calling again will make you seem desperate. But more importantly, if you have to call her again in order for her to return your call, then she isn't as interested as you are. Why do that to yourself? You could harass her into calling you back only to have her string you along because she feels pressured and then have her get fed up with it and eventually stop calling all together. That's an ugly picture....let it go.

By the way, its a bit early to be freakin about this. You met her on Saturday and didn't call her until Monday. That's two nights. In the land of silly dating games, that means that you shouldn't expect to hear from her before tomorrow night.

Good luck!

Definately don't text. That's just shows her you are too scared to actually call her, and thats a turn-off. Wait a few days, then call her back. If she answers, then just talk to her normally and ask her out, but if she doesn't answer don't leave another message. After the second call and still no answer. Try once more a few days after that, and if she still doesn't answer, then forget about it b/c shes probly got caller id and is just avoiding you.

A lot of girls will be too shy to call back, even if you left your number and said "call me". I'd suggest you give it another go and either call or TM, and go from there (don't leave any message on her machine if you call again).

Give her a good, solid chance to accept or reject your interest...no point in going off wondering what might have been...

Don't do anything. You have already contacted her so she knows you are interested and you know she gave you the right number so that is a plus. Just wait and see what happens. Don't go calling and texting you don't want to seem too desperate!

I would try calling again. If you do talk to her you can say something like you didn't know if she got your message or not. If she isn't receptive or doesn't return your call then leave it alone.

Call 3 more times and leave messages. If she doesn't call back, bag it.
