I'd think you'd want to minimize the personal photos and nicknacks. You want the person to see their possessions in the room (in their mind). Your possessions only distract from that.
If the room is really big, people like a sitting area in the bedroom (drape a light throw across it and an open book).

a his and her dresser with mirrors over each
A small writing desk with a PC on it.
A end table at one side of the bed that has two drawers.
A small entertainment unit with TV and DVD player.
A bookcase with assorted books, nicknacks and photo albums.
And of course there is the queensized bed.
A neat lamp of a nude woman in sillouette (sp) holding the moon with a light bulb behind it.

Dirty clothes ( that in itself would be 7)
X-mas decoration(A big 5 foot Santa)haven't brought it to the cellar
broken TV(you want it) haven't took it to the curb yet
A ceiling fan(Needs cleaned)
Old puzzles(need to do them and sell)
old photos(need to organize them)
lamp(needs a light bulb)
Well now that I see these things that need to get done awwww. I'll just keep answering questions....lazy huh....lol :)

about the same as everyone else except i have white shabby chic furniture and a canopy..but it's very feminine for a woman not a couple....if i were you i would look at magazines to get some ideas..
