Generally, given a case of "his word against mine", the police
will win, especially when dealing with traffic citations. Why?
Because they don't have any financial stake in the outcome and
you do.
However, if you collect evidence, and the policeman doesn't
have any, then the outcome may be different.
Most people do not contest traffic citations because they
are either guilty or they realize it will be their word against
the police and they have no cooberating evidence.
I'm sure there are police that lie and harass, but in my
experience, they are just tired, harassed people trying to
do an impossible job.
If you have particular police that you think are as you describe
then do a little research and tell somebody.
Otherwise, stop your yapping - you just sound like someone
trying to get out of a fine they probably deserve.

I've been on this earth for 37 years and NEVER had to worry about the cops herasing or lieing [sic] about me. Whatever you are doing to garner so much attention from them STOP.
Hint: It's probably all the cats.

Because we voted for the idiots who made the stupid laws the cops supposedly enforce. Speak up and be heard... vote. Vote for less laws and more control back to the people. Our fore-fathers fought for the very same things we allowed the government to take from us. The People have the power... we are all just too lazy to do anything about it.

They do not want someone to tell them what and how to do their jobs. They will look to all things they can look as the law requires. If it works for them, it will work for the law.
My advise is to know the limits of the law in their hands and go whoop their *ss in the court with the evidence that you can gather. But if none, go blubber more for the sake of your whooping *ss.
