When do you think time was invented? In the 2th century A.C.?
Different cultures calculate and record time differently.

Time is actually a dimension we travel in and its slowing down, maybe it will even stop one day, but well, that's just a believe like believing in the bible.
Anyway, time is not an invention, just like gravity is not an invention, we we have learned to measure both and give it numbers, numbers that actually don't mean anything, its just some agreement we made just like we agreed that certain pieces of paper are worth something and you can buy things from it.

Time was invented. Plus scripture was inspired by God so I'm sure He knew how old Adam was

it is recorded in the bible. Genesis 5:5 where it says adam was 930 years old also says he became father to sons and daughters not saying how many. Probably a lot.
