Individuals do not create reality on this scale. The reality he is talking about is on a personal level.

Like if you are afraid of certain ideas you label them and and use the labels in a derogatory way.

Like calling people names like liberal.

It is a trait that all fear based people share.

Love and blessings
A Liberal

I'm not really fimilar with this particular person or quote, but I actually happen to be reading a book on this very subject (reality).

I think what the person is saying is that we create our OWN reality. Everything that we (as each individual) experiences throughout our lives dictates how we view reality. If you and I both saw the same thing, we would each perceive it differently, as we both see OUR realities differently.

Without typing an entire book I can't explain that any further. I think that is what his reference is meant to explain. Not that we control reality, but we create our own.

You can also look up the word paradigm. Not quite the same thing but kinda.

It could be that I decided that I wanted to hear about a tsunami happening and it happened. I simply made it so that other people know. I created a reality in which there is pain and suffering on other people, as well as myself. I don't really know if someone's actually asking this question, or if it's just another thing that I created within my mind. I create my own reality as a god creates their own universe. There is no way to prove or disprove this to anyone, especially me.

listen... "disasters" such as the tsunami may in ultimate reality may not be a tragity at all. its an amazing thing to think about but...possibly all of the souls who "died" by the tsunami may have all chosen to go that way at that particular time. and even those who were affected negativly by it may have superconciously chose that reality to experience a loss on such a level. a being of pure consiousness has no idea what a human experience is untill it becomes human. and experiences are just that. be it good or bad. but good or bad are just a human conception anyway.. this thing is much bigger then we realize.

Huzzah, someone challanges one of MY few beliefs for once.

This one's easy. We create our own reality collectively. Most people think science works. So it does. Therefore, scientific phenomena occur, creating things like Tsunami. By the time the tsunami existed, people knew it existed, so they didn't have the force of will to make it NOT exist. So it did exist.

We create our own reality, but only in a way that makes that observation virtually meaningless; by the time we realize we're creating it, we've already created it, and can't create it elsewise.

Because we're screwing up the planet to get what we want. Most people have yet to figure out the rules of the reality making game. Just because we make our own reality, doesn't mean we know what the hell we're doing.

Because we have no control of things. We aren't in control of our realities. God is in control and he allows things like this to happen so that we will come to our senses and realize that we aren't in control.
