Hunny, He is the alpha omega the beginning to end....It's impossible to explain God rationally. Why? Because, theorically, God has no limits!!!! Since words limits ideas, God is unlimited and can't be explained with words, rationally. God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. Ok. Now, try to limit God.You can't!!! He is actually everything!! If you think about,
Omnipotence+Omnipresence+Omniscience=EVERYTHING!!
Please read the two link below. That? Is my GOD.
I can only imagine what it will be like
When I walk by Your side
I can only imagine what my eyes will see
When Your face is before me
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for You Jesus?
Or in awe of You be still?
Will I stand in Your presence?
Or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
A Christan.

That's a great question. The answer is that He wants our prayers and he commands that we pray. He tells us that we are to do it and if we are to be obedient, then we will. Now, are His plans changeable? That's a debate that has been going on since around the time of the reformation. I believe that God is sovereign and has had His plans worked out since before the foundation of the world. Others don't. It's not a debate that is worth having because if thousands of incredible well versed theologians over hundreds of years have not resolved the issue, Yahoo Answers doesn't really stand a chance. I do recommend that you devour the pages of your Bible and find out what you believe. These boards are not really a great resource for these important issues. Hope this helps.

Yes our God has a definite plan for everyone in this world. But we are not foolish We do not know our God's plan No body know it axactly We can propose something but God will dispose it not always in the same with our wishes..We pray to our God asking His forgiveness because we almost everyday make mistakes. We ask for blessing from our God because not everything we do has a successful result. We ask for our God's protection because although we are prudent but still we have the opportunity of bad luck.We should pray in line with islamic teaching at least five times a day as a direct communication from us to our God as our Creator. We contact our Creator at any time if we want it.But we should have a discipline in a right time for praying. Our God's plan could not be changed such as our death can not be delayed in seconds and can be prolonged also in seconds. But nobody know when our bangle will bring out our spirit and soul.We can know when, where and why we died. It is a secreet of our God Almighty.

Because Prayer is a form of communication. I like to talk with people that I love, and I love God a lot. it is said that God knows all that we need, but it is also said that He likes to be asked.
Does God have a overall plan for His creation? It would seem so, or else the prophecies would make so sense (those that have come true already in the bible, and those that are still future). however God does change His will and have mercy sometimes if we ask HIm. A perfect example of that was when Abraham asked God to spare Lot and Sodom, and God told him that He was willing to do for Abraham.
He love us, so sometimes yes.
hope that helps.

God does not have a plan. Humans have plans. A plan is something that you give thought to. It is something that changes when something bad happens. God has a purpose. A purpose is unchanging. God's purpose for the earth has never changed. If you believe in creation, then at the beginning, when Eve gave the fruit to Adam, they were kicked out of the garden of Eden. If God had a plan, then there would be no point for our lives. However, God has a master design, in essence a purpose. He simply made an allowance for the sin of Adam and Eve. Sometime in the near future, he is going to fulfill his design, or purpose, by restoring the Earth to the way that he originally intended it to be. So we pray for his will, for his purpose to be fulfilled.

Praying isn't about changing God's plan, it's about a relationship. God is our Father. If you have kids you understand that as a parent you want to share in your children's lives. Prayer is simply telling God all your hopes and fears. It's like talking to your best friend. Sometimes you laugh, sometimes you cry but He's always there for you. And just like when you haven't called your Mom for awhile, it makes Him sad and He worries about you when you don't keep in touch.

God does have a plan. The plan is to extend His loving grace to all people so everyone can join Him in Eternity. Sadly, not all people will be allowed to be with Him. Not because of God, but because of the sinful nature of man and the unwillingness to repent and obey God's commands. God is even willing to help guide us, if we ask Him in prayer. He has made it so simple to be with Him, but yet some do not seem to care and even worse, believe in Him. It is only to late, to ask for God's forgiveness, after you die. Take advantage of the time you have left to develop a relationship with our Creator.

Pray is not just asking? Its communion with God, who Christians have a relationship with. Its talking with God.
Im sure you communicate with those regularly who are dear to you - so it is the same with Christians and God.

God gave us a spirit of self control and he gave us free will, that's how man came to sin, God being a fair God gave the abilty to decide and have a freewill, he did have a plan, but he knew we would mess up because of the freewill, so it is possible to change His plan, but changing His plan never works, God still has a plan for your life, so give up your plans, it doesn't matter what they are, give up your plans, and God will see you are open to Him, he will also see the disires of your heart and he will grant your will according to his perfect timing, isn't it wonderful how he works!?
