Sounds like seborrheic dematitis. The best treatment is to regularly use a shampoo that contains ketoconazole. A popular brand is "Nizoral". The ketoconazole will kill the yeasts living on your scalp. We all have yeasts on us all the time, but some people just have a bad reaction to it. Use the shampoo as directed, and after a week or two, you will likely notice a big improvement.

I had a problem too, but not as severe as yours. My problem came from my makeup, and not getting it totally off when I went to bed. The skin can't shed causing an excessive amount of skin, that has symptoms of psoriasis. Using an antibacterial cleansing soap, and adding cortisone cream helped me.

You could have a dry scalp. You might want to call a dermatologist if it doesn't clear up in a week(give the old shampoo time to get out of your hair).

It sounds like an allergic reaction. Have you started using any new products?? If not it may be something more seriouse. I suggest going to a dermatologist and getting it checked out.
