It seems when ever I experimented with marijuana, it caused me great paranoia, to where I would loose sleep the whole night. But when I drink a pint a vodka, I have a great tolerance for alcohol and it does not cause any paranoia at all, I can go right to sleep and have no worries.

A Marijuana high lasts for a max of 4 hours, assuming its been eaten rather than smoked. Smoking gives a much shorter high. While weed might make some people slightly paranoid, what you are describing is different. It sounds like the paranoia from a bad LSD trip.

alcohol in the long run will cause more anxiety. It sounds as if you have quite a tolerance for alcohol to be able to drink a pint, your body is used to it, which is not a good sign. I would talk to your doctor about getting you on prescribed medication for anxiety and leave the self-experimentation's alone.

I think you should go to a doc, get medication for anxiety and avoid all alcohol and drugs. Therapy would be helpful, too.

Marijuana obviously does, as it can make you paranoid sometimes. But loose sleep is better than tight sleep.

It sounds like you are self medicating - better to go see a health professional and get the proper treatment.

alcohol should be more anxiety causing than pot. Maybe you just have drank enough until your brain knows what is happening with alcohol but not enough times with pot for it to not panic.
