Credit Unions also use Chex Systems, and Banks that do not use something which is equivilent. I believe Bank of America does not, or at least thats what someone has told me, but I'm not sure. If they use ChexSystems it will usually be posted somewhere in their lobby with their other disclosures.

They do run chex yet they are forgiving as long as a results of fact the article is paid or is previous 3 3 hundred and sixty 5 days mark. i replaced into waiting to get a account and that i've got a paid chex on my account approximately 2 years in the past. yet they denied my husband who has a opened chex from 3 years in the past .. bypass determine despite the fact that it is not paid. I think they all use some sort of chex system now. They can check immediately and see if you have funds at the time you write a check now.

Bank of America, Washington Mutual, and Wachovia ALL USE CHEXSYSTEMS.

However, if you go to a branch, Bank of America might give you an account anyway if your ChexSystems entry is old. Same with Wachovia, US Bank, or WaMu.
