I dont normally get into sharing my day here but I want to share today with all of you. It started out bad, really bad like most of the days Ive had for a while. However, it brought about my best friend taking me to the Camden Aquarium in NJ. I didn't even want to go but I did anyway. Well, as stupid as this may sound I was just hypnotized by the sea life there. Fish are cool, yeah but some of them... WOW. I had no clue Tuna was so big, or that seahorses were the only creatures where the male carries and delivers the babies, or that starfish mothers cuddle their young. And some of these fish had the brightest colors Ive ever seen, some really looked painted. I half expected one to start talking in a cartoon voice! LOL I sat in what looked like a theater and looked at these sea creatures while classical music played. Call me "gay" if you want. But sometimes a moment of wonder can change your day. Do you agree?

You're not gay at all man. It's great to see someone else that looks a little beyond sex and personal pleasure. People like you, and me for that matter, who step back and look at the world for a moment are those who will achieve amazing things. I find that watching the sun rise in the morning is very inspiring. Or watching it set and cast rays of light over the mountains behind my house. The simple things in life do so much.
Kudos to you man! Rock on!

Yes, for some it's the sky, for some it's the sea, for some it's mountains. I am drawn close to God when I walk along the ocean shore. Sometimes just looking out the bus window at the sky I say: God I'm so proud of You. There are still many beautiful things even with all the bad that's going on. I will never stop praising God for what is good.

You described very well, after I read this, it seems like i went there too. I remembered the time I went to an aquarium. I saw sharks swam over my head(in a glass of course) and lots of other extraordinary wonders. That was a long time ago... Now during the summer, I spend most of of my time studying(i'm in high school). Even so, small moments now and then could change my mood for the day.

For sure, I once went to a similar place in sydney, australia. They have some of the most deadly animals on the globe there, like the box jellyfish, it's only about 6 inches (long tentacles tho) and this thing will kill you. And it eats plankton, so there's no need for such brutality, but there you go. Nature is a wonderful and fascinating thing

I agree, fish are really cool. I went to this sweet aquarium in portugal and saw this crazy giant fish that looked like a monster. it was wild I had never seen anything like it. I hope it is not swimming around the ocean.

So, you had humane feelings about the beauty of our world? That doesn't make you "gay". And so what if you are? You sound like a great compassinate person, who can enjoy the moment, I'm jealous! I hardly ever get to inhale, and just enjoy the feeling for the great, grand pleasure of life! LIVE!

Humans like stimulation. The sea offers that. So you feel more satisfied overall. Doesn't sound like a miracle, but I'm glad it improved your day. It just goes to show that places like Aquariums are probably underappreciated in today's entertainment based society.

I think anything can help if your having a bad day. The best thing to do is just get away from everything like you did. And i dont think your gay.
