his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of the law and please serious answers only!

I'd suggest that he wear all black, get a horse & buggy & claim no assets.

Oops, sorry, you said serious answers only, didn't you?

It's all about the plea bargain. It's doubtful he's getting that light of a sentence for bank robbery. It must have been pled down to aggravated robbery or something like that. The FBI is involved with all bank robberies and tend to let the local LE set the stage with the ADA. I'd guess that he's been co-operative, didn't resist arrest, didn't have weapons and you already said he had no priors.
9-16 months..if all the stars are in alignment..isn't too far out.
BTW..I'm a Bounty Hunter in Lancaster/Chester Counties...that's just to add a little credibility to my guesstimation...DON'T take my guess as any kind of advice.

I think I have seen this question before, but not certain.
Why ask here at Y!A..? Who in their right mind will give you a straight answer?

Only an attorney will be able to advise you properly with all angles of the law. All others will redicule your question. Or, they may advise you but you can never be sure of their answers. Just go to a lawyer. That's my best advise to you.

While I know what should be said to you in this case, I cannot be certain because I do not know all circumstances relating to this case. You will be better off not to ask this question here. You are hurting yourself.

where is the money buried?......... sounds about like the right sentence to me, you kill somebody get life and youre out in a week and they buy you all new tools to be setup in business unless youre a cop then they just slap em on the wrist and give em a pat on the back.
