Hi, I am 32 years old and I got married when I was 28. I had always had a fantasy wedding in mind. I always wanted to get married under a gazebo with white swans and such. I had it all pictured in my mind. Rolling green hills, beautful flowers, white wedding gown. When I got engaged it just all seemed to fall into place. I got married at a beautiful Plantation in south Georgia. Nice pond with all these white swans. Beatuful platation house in the front. Gazebo decorated up with flowers, white tulle, it was all so beautiful. My fantasy wedding was wonderful. I had it all and the cost was wonderful too. The whole wedding only cost me $2000. That was the dress, pictures, decorations, food, invites. All of it. So that was my wedding.

My fantasy has changed allot. When I was a little girl I wanted to have a BIG wedding with ALL the trimmings. Now that I am 25. I just want a small wedding with close family and friends. I would rather put most of our money into purchasing a house.

There is nothing wrong with fantasizing about your perfect wedding day. It is ok to do. In fact some women (and a few guys) actually get the chance to live it out. But since many of us cant afford those fantasies, we tend to tone it down a bit and make it more realistic. After all a wedding truly isnt about how much of everything you have, its about you, your spouse and your loved ones to come together and celebrate.

i think every girl has that wedding fantasy, even after they are married. its changed a little bit, not much since iv been a child the only thing that has changesd is as a child iw anted a hge church wedding now i want it out doors on a beach or in a roes garden, etc... again thogh, i think its a natural girl thing. every girl has their fantasy weddings, some get them and some dont.. to those who dont, thats to bad, to those who do excellent... mits okay to be over 20 and still have a dream wedding...maybe one day your fantasy will be a reality!!

I had a wedding fantasy when I was a kid, and then it dropped off of the radar for years and years. When I got engaged at 25, I was surprised at how quickly my wedding fantasy came back, although it had changed quite a bit since I was a kid.

I did. When I was little I dreamed of my perfect dress which was a medieval princess dress with long bell sleeves. My mother-in-law to be made me the exact dress I had pictured, but I did not wear the veil I had envisioned. I wore a tiara instead. A smart man just lets is bride plan the wedding, and gives input on the location, his tux, the food and the invitations. It is the woman's job to plan everything, and become the true beast within. Bidezilla!
