It is the greatest shock. Beacause, Christ designed by our knowledge and our imgination are far from being true.
Christ says that the real sheep will recognize the shepherd.
Who is the real sheep?
Since He had returned, so I see in His flock people with meekness, humility, purity, kindness, sincerity, dignity, trustworthiness, acquiescence, charity, bravery, and many many other noble qualities. This is the effect of both His first advent and this second advent.
Christ also says that you know the tree by its fruit. So just go around, if you meet any community with people like that, then you will see Christ right there, before Whose divine presence you no longer dare make any further comments.

I will not be shocked at all about the "image" that Jesus will portray. For I'm not looking for an image but for the fleshly incarnation of a Holy God who is more than an image to me.

When Jesus returns, we will know him--by our spirits....our souls. I do believe I will be shocked and surprised all at the same time. Just imagine, if you read your Bible, you'll notice that when Jesus came back to his disciples, they were so shocked and weren't really even sure it was Him. EVEN though He had been continually telling them that He would come back. We are just the same. We must be ready for that moment, always living our lives like we will meet Jesus in the morning.
God bless. Love, Emily

Wasnt his name Hasues?
I personally thing Jesus has been reincarnated over and over. There are living masters in this world as we speak, very rare, but there. Jesus never wrote anything down becuase he knew teachings can only be from the mouth of a master. They get misconstrued and do more harm than good when written down, which explains fundamentalist Christianity, which is basically racist, closed minded, and a little crazy. Its ok if it makes your life better, but Jeeez lawweeez, stop trying to convert everyone.

This idea is a misunderstanding of scripture.
Jesus has no intention of returning as a living human. He already did that.
This time Jesus is returning in the hearts of those who have accepted his message and try to live their lives to emulate his teachings. Few actually do this. It requires a radically different interpretation of love from the one understood by most so-called believers. Most people see love as something that you keep in reserve only for those you have judged worthy of it.
This is not love at all. This is only judgment. Judgment is the exact opposite of what Jesus was teaching. Remember judge not lest ye be judged. Jesus asks us to love our neighbor. Notice that there is no accept for in this statement. Every one is intended to be included in this love Jesus ask us to have for our fellow man. This type of universal application of love requires no judgment on our part because Jesus’' intent was that no one be left out of it.
This is a difficult pill to swallow for any religion that thinks of it's self as being the one true and only correct way to God. This idea of exclusivity is the exact opposite of the message of inclusively that Jesus gave us.
Attaining the goals that Jesus set for us may be difficult within the constraints most religions impose. This is why many who seriously try to emulate the true teachings of Jesus in their lives do not ascribe to any particular religious following. They follow the truth in their hearts where Jesus has taken up residence.
Love and blessings.

May HIIS blessing be always with you forever.

Dream a little dream for me. I highly doubt it that one person will come to this huge globe as Jesus and be the second coming of the same man that was killed.
