You're so right. Cops "dose" have a different sets of laws the follow. The cops have to follow a vast majority of laws that you never even care or think about about. Every day, I have to make sure I am abiding by the constitution, particularly the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 14th amendments. I also have to be aware of all of their content, not just the first phrase or two.

Not only that, I have to check weekly to see what the courts may have ruled on so when I interview the person who raped your mother, the interview isn't thrown out due to some new ruling.

cause it aint nothing but a big old U.S. mafia and they wonder why we cant stand them.

2. I have never had a run in with a cop because I live my life by the law. Anybody who has had run ins is doing something to get into trouble. Maybe you should take a good look at how you are living your life.

You are very lucky. It's like getting screwed by a car salesman, if it hasnt happened yet, it usually will.

3. All the officers I have met are law-abiding citizens.

You are also very naive and your friends must be too if it hasnt happend to them. You must be a dumb cop.

Cops are straight up power crazed douche bags. I have been arrested 3 times and the last time cops made up things we said (me, gf, friends) which basically screwed me over. I have rarely met a good cop. There is no such thing as justice because cops are just people that were beat up in high school and power trip. I hate cops so much. Most of them I truly believe will go to hell if there is such a thing.

Has anyone ever met a good one? seriosuly

They only have the power to arrest or not. It's not a perfect system by all means - In my small town of 70k they are the ones speeding, not using turn signals, crossing dividing lines while driving, almost like a drunk driver. But if you have a video camera and some time and editing skills, submit it to the news for a story. They like that stuff.

Police are trained to circumvent out constitutional rights. Not enough people fight to prevent governments from taking away our rights. Police use intimidation tactics along with our ignorace of the law is a combination ripe for our loss of rights.

Yet another fine example of an uneducated citizen who feels he/she/it has been given a raw deal by the police.

Straighten out your act, and you'll see what police do for you isn't so bad.

You're also the type that pisses and moans about the police, but when you need a cop, you'll kiss his/her rear end.

If you dressed different, behaved and thought different and did what your parents wanted best for you, rather than hanging out with other perps .. would your life been different?

Damn skippy!
White long T-shirts, underwear sticking out of the back of your pants, says one thing: You're not going to Church!

Change Latitude and friends, and your attitude will relocate with you!

Is english your native language? My DH is a police officer and I am a former officer, I make sure that I stop at every sign and light and obey all traffic laws so people can't make stupid accusations about us.

There aren't. But you sound like you have a gangsta mentality and would believe so no matter what the truth is and that something personally happened to you to make us think so.
