It is less about what he imagines she needs than what HE needs!

Not all men think like that, I know I don't. You may want to re-phrase that to say "why do SOME men think that a woman who is separated from her husband needs sex immediately?".

That is like me saying, "why do women only go for men who have money". It's inaccurate, but if I ask "why do some women only go for men with money?", it's more accurate and much more fair.

Nice try y'all but the correct reason is that most men will assume that a likely reason for the breakup is that the husband was cheating. And his reason for doing that is usually because he wasn't getting any at home. A woman fresh out of this relationship will want to prove to herself and to the ex if possible, that she isn't as frigid as he says. And most men would give their right arm and a couple of toes to be the one that helps her prove, just how much of an appetite she "still" has,and all the things she was willing to do, if only he'd been a little more patient and loving.

This moment in your life, your emotions are very rapid. There are some men ( NOT ALL ) that will play on those emotions to get whatever they can at the time. They will tell you anything they feel you need to hear. Especially the words, oh hon, my wife does the same thing to me that your husband did. AND believe it or not there are women that will do the same thing to men. They will play on their sympathy.

If you truly think about it, men have two heads. One on their shoulders and one you know where. Most of the time, they think with the wrong one.

So you see, it is not only men that do these things, it is also women.

Thank you for your question and I do pray that things will get better for you.

You are right. That is a very stupid attitude and totally misses the fact that what the woman wants is affection. The person who needs sex is the soon to be ex husband.

I disagree with your 1st answer person - NO that is NOT the way
it is!
I know exactly where you are coming from! I was divorced, and
I took a cousin to the store, this guy who I knew from church told
me he & his wife were divorced - ok? so my cousin & I leave him
& we drive to her place. What does this goofball do? He gets in
his car & follows us & he comes up to me & he asks me to go
to his apt. & have sex!!! I almost threw up! My God! Have men
no shame??? Is sex ALL they think about? I swear they think
they MUST have sex to survive! Well guess what? In the eyes
of God it is a SIN to have sex before marriage! or even without
marriage! He gives us one partner & if the one partner screws up - which is my case, my ex - told me he was gay! Give me a
break!!! (that's another story) I will not and I do mean WILL NOT
have sex without marriage. It is a sin and that is that. Men are
just plan stupid!

Because most men think if a woman is not with a man she must be looking for one.

Because men have just one thing on their minds -- sex. They think they need it constantly, and they don't understand that we can go without it. They see you as single...therefore easier to attain cuz you don't have a man that'll kick their ***...lol!
