I deal with depression everyday. I use drugs daily because it's the only thing that takes me out of depressing state of mind. I go to therapy as well. I've have depression since before I even was a teenager, I've hurt myself and concidered suicide many times. My life's been full of struggles and overcoming my depression is by far one of the hardest to deal with.

Well first let me say you are not alone. Millions of people suffer from depression and the good news...there is help.
There are many quizzes out there to take to determine if you have depression however, seeing a primary care physician should be your first step. He/She can give you the same evaluation and determine your level of depression if you are diagnosed with depression.
Depending on your level the Dr may start you out with an antidepressant of a low dosage and possibly therapy. There is NO shame in having therapy sessions. You learn allot about yourself and how to deal with things that may be bothering you that you don't realize.
I could ramble on more and more but please see your primary care physician and then go from there.
Also, rely on God to get your through things in life. Give it all to Him and let Him work in your life.

Depression pisses me off! Life is hard and people are full of crap and you are probably more of a realist than depressed. Something in your life is lacking and you feel bad about it. There is nothing "wrong" with you, but life. American culture tells us we must be happy all the time, that is a load of bull. We live in a culture where everyone is expected to be so perfect and we are constantly lied to by the media. There is a huge percentage of people on depression meds, someone is making allot of money making us feel bad about ourselves.

Yeah I have. Symptoms , don't feel like getting out of bed (I didn't some days), Feeling down, not able to look foward to anything, feel like nobody understands you or cares about what you're going through and don't really want you around, feel really anti social, find it hard to show an interest in anything, feel like there's no hope.
