Do have to go to church only every so often? Not kill anyone. Maybe cheat and lie a little. Just enough to get a C- and gain admission. Or do you have to do a complete turn around and watch everything you say, do or think?
Just a question. Curious for opinions.

you just have to accept Jesus as your savior and that he dies for your sins-
All the other stuff far as church going and being good comes into play because the holy spirit changes you.
Sounds corny but I can tell you when you accept christ something inside you makes you want to do the right thing and serve God. This is why so many non believers can't understand why Christains lead a good life without parties, drinking swearing etc. Not saying Christians are perfect, we do sin but we can ask for forgiveness and be delivered out of temptation. When you surrender to Jesus he changes you completely. Look at the apostle Paul, he went from murdering Christians to being one of the biggest Teachers of Christ-
How would a transformation like that happen without the power of Christ doing something in your heart?
Good deads do not get you in to heaven, only by accepting Jesus will the heavenly gates open up 4 you
I will pray for you!

It doesn't quite work that way. First you ask for salvation, but you have to truly believe, and mean it. Then you will want to do the right thing, which may include going to church and watching what you say, do and think. You don't want to cheat and lie. But no one is perfect, and you slip up occasionally, but you know you are forgiven because you are truly sorry when you do. It's that easy.

If I were you I would not listen to some of these idiots who think saying something is going to get you into Heaven - IT IS NOT.
If someone walked up to you and said "Hey man - I'm your best friend - lend me some money!" you going to lend them some money and you never met them before. You think God is going to let you into heaven with a little sentence - NO!
You must study, and follow the Bible - any other way is the road to eternal damnation.

I know I'm going out on a limb on this one...you don't ASK for salvation--you say thank you. It is as easy as that. There are 2 choices heaven or hell...Heaven is for the people who believe God became a man and died on a cross to pay for ALL of their bad...hell is the place for the people who either decide they don't believe that, believe that but still think they're good enough to get in or would rather go to hell to pay for their sins themselves. Heaven is a free gift. God has His hand outstretched with the gift of Heaven in his hand for anyone to take...After one sin Adam was kicked out of the garden...it only takes one sin to need a savior...the key is, your good deeds don't take away your bad...Jesus said, I am the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Getting into heaven is as simple as saying thankyou God for paying for my sins so I don't have to...

Very easy...believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and God...believe that he died and rose again to pay the penalty for your sins...that His salvation is a gift that you could not possibly earn or merit thru your actions or intentions...and heaven is open to you!

If you know that you have to ask for salvation, then you know how to get into heaven. It is that simple. Then life is eternal in heaven. You just have to believe and ask God for salvation and MEAN IT! If you dont really mean it, it will not work. God Bless!

Both the easiest and the hardest. Jesus said whomsoever believes in me shall be saved. Jesus did it all, he paved the road to heaven with his own shed blood. Now that is easy isn't it? So, what is so hard about it? Because man does not believe, simple.

No you dont have to go to church or follow any religion, God does not require that. God does ask for you to believe in Him, follow Him and love Him. Follow the Commandments, ask forgiveness of your sins, repent and sin no more

Only 144,000 faithful and descreet annointed followers of Jesus Christ are going to heaven, people say this is not so but, God can not lie and his word says only 144,000. People just can't deal with the truth.
