Im a coffee addict and my favourite brands are Starbucks, Tim Hortons and Dunkin Donuts. I can usually only get to a Dunkin Donuts across in Buffalo NY . . . or in Quebec.

But how come there are Dunkin Donuts in Quebec and not Southern Ontario (Toronto). We usually get everything first, so I don't see why Dunkin decided Quebec was such a great place to go. They even have four Krispy Kreme's in Montreal! FOUR??! We only have one!!

Ontario is ruled by Tim Horton's and Tim's is on track to saturate all of Canada as well as being in the process of moving into domination of American markets as well. You say you go to Buffalo for Dunkin Donuts but Tim's has been steadily taking over Buffalo and is close to becoming the #1 donut/coffee chain there (I was shocked when I heard a Buffalo morning show announce that Tim's was their official coffee). Hell, Tim's sent Krispy Kreme packing when they tried to take share in the Ontario market and are now threatening KK share in American markets.

I believe the reason I heard Dunkin is big in Quebec was because Tim's wasn't interested in total domination in Quebec at the time and they decided to throw their weiht at ruling Quebec instead of facing the Tim Horton's juggernaut on their home turf. Success is always found in exploiting the areas you can get into.

What I've been told is that Tim Horton's hadn't really infultrated Quebec (not like, say, in Ottawa where there is one on every corner), while Dunkin Donuts was not only willing to set up shop there, but to advertise in French with Quebecois actors.

If it is any consolation, we barely have any Dunkin Donuts in the entire state of California.

Parce que les Quebecois aimant beaucoup Dunkin Donuts et Krispy Kremes.
Myselef, I find Krispy Kremes too sweet. About half of one is enough. But Dunkin Donuts... and Tim Horton's ... ooooh... 'scuse me, I have to go get some right now.

Is it the coffee or the donuts you're addicted to?? I don't understand why you are asking about donuts when you are looking for coffee! By the way, whatever happened with that whole coffee and Wendy's fiasco? Or was it coffee and oil? I can't remember!
