That is what catholic churches like if they can keep your mind off G-D the Father, they won't be alone in the lake of fire. the old saying misery loves company.I pray that allot more people head some place to pray ,that's all we have left in life, were not to worship Christ for He said worship G-D His Father

I would accept the 2nd before the 1st, but not necessarily believe the experience more than the first. many religions started by someone, even children, having a "visit from God" when they were alone. But Mary in a pastry is no more convincing than these "visits" especially if the message they received deviates from scripture.

Face recognition is a significant phase..the second phase of brain developement in the infant. Sound being the first and the sense of smell coming along somewhere in third place. Actually touch would be the absolute first but anyway...We often pull the symetry of a face from all kinds of varying sources as by instinct...trees, shadows, wood grains and etc. So its developed even further by mental conditioning to recognize certain images elsewhere as signified by their presence in unusual places...such as Lincoln's profile in a sock piled on the floor just the right way..we are all familiar cuz we see his profile on the penny so its easy to pick out. However, as far as believing that someone came up on a vision of an "angelic" being calling themselves Moroni? If Joseph Smith is to whom you are alluding then perhaps its because he managed to change up the details so many times, plegerize the Word of God and collaborate with numerous cohorts who turned on him and had been proven a fraud well before this little foray into being a "prophet" of God. Or are you speaking of someone else? Love in Christ, ~J~

of the pictures i have seen of the so-called images in pastery or anyother object most of the images don't macth those of the person that they say it looks like.
I would more likey believe the young boy getting a personal visit from a diety than someones imagination of what they see in a piece of dough or a defect in a piece of glass.

it may be that the hardcore religous believe that Jesus' second coming would be the end of the world and he would save all of his followers, so no much as an image of Jesus or God on earth is accepted.
P.S. Good Question, i had never thought about that :)

What? This question doesn't make sense to me....but in response anyway...doesn't religion seem kinda psychotic? I have a hard time listening to people talk about their faith and the things that go along with it, and not thinking that they are mental...lol

The image is real. It doesn't mean anything, but it is there to see (sometimes).

people want something to touch rather than believe in the heart.
