Absolutely! That is wonderful that they still feel comfortable enough to do that. You should just enjoy it. Give them the love they deserve. Also, you shouldn't just save the hugs for bedtime, but also give them a hug in the daytime (not around their friends of course!) and tell them that you LOVE them. That is very important for them to understand that you love them unconditional.

Oh, I can't believe you would ask! Do you realize that in a few short years they are not going to want to be tucked in at all... then it's over. You may get the joy of tucking in the grandchildren every once in a while.... Enjoy that... It's the good stuff :-)

I hope so. I don't ever want my boy to stop the goodnight kiss and cuddle before tucking them in. He is 7 now and I don't see it stopping any time soon. I will always give a kiss and cuddle goodnight (whether he likes it or not LOL)

hi there are you serious .........of course its ok for kids of this age to get a kissan cuddle before bedtime they are still only young and a cuddle should never do any harm they must like ther bed time routine and this must help them settle at night its good to see that boys at that age still want a cuddle as the day will come that you wont get to go in ther bed room never mind a kiss an cuddle

Sure it is except if they have someone spending the night I would limit it to a goodnite and forget the tucking in...Otherwise you will embarass them...
My kids are grown and out on their own but when we see one another I always get a hug and we both say I love you...It's never too old to show love..you just have to know when to be discreet...Can't embarass the kids

I think it's lovely!! My grandson turn 10 --8/5/06 & he's preicous, he doesn't ask me to tuck him in ,but a hug & kiss he puts out(smile) with sweet words too, like goodnight candle light....& I just have to love in back!!!!

My son is almost eight and still comes over and hugs and kisses me. I hope he stays "young" for a long time. Give them all they need. Yes they are normal. The real world will take them away soon enough.

It is. I have a seven year old who still likes to be tucked in. I liked to be tucked into bed until I was about ten or eleven.
