First of all, you don't have to make yourself irresistible for a guy to notice you. The best advice I can give you is to be yourself. Do you know the guy well? If not, maybe you should hang out with him and get to know him a little better. If you do know him well, then I say go for it! Just ask him out! I mean, the worst that can happen is him saying no. Invite him and a group of others out first. About 7 people in all, no couples. Ask him if he want to join you and some of your friends out for pizza or something. If he says yes, you can take from there. If he says no, it won't be as if he's turning you down...... Know what I maen?
p.s. Invite people that are not dating and a odd number of people so it doesn't look like your trying to match anyone up.

you dont have to officially ask this person out. you can say something nice and casual like "we should hang out sometime" and you can see where it goes. don't force it on him otherwise you will look desperate. believe me, coming from a guy you don't want that. you just have to relax and just make it something simple.
