Is AOL free? i'm wanting to get AOL messenger not the AIM, AIM TRITON, or IM PRO

you know if u pay for aol before it comes with a aol messenger not AIM yes its like the same but i like how AOL messenger looks and features any1 kno where i can get it?

AOL is not free unless you install it then call at the end of your trial period to tell them you want to cancel and then they'll give you more free service. I have a friend that has been doing this for over a year.
AOL IM is free just do a yahoo search for it and download it. They'll even give you a free AOL email and all kinds of junk. However, I like Yahoo Messenger better.

It is free. Just simply go to www.aol.com. On the right side, you will see AIM ( thats aol instant messenger). Create a new screen name and a aol e-mail account. The creation of the e-mail accoutnt is free. Then download AOL messenger. Just sign in with your screen name and add your friends and family. It is that simple.

Only AOL messenger is free better known as AIM. Other than everything else is not free and u have to pay.

the only way u can get aol messenger is if you get aol and aol isnt free so u just have to get aim. and i dont think theres really a diff with them

AOL is not free. They may give you a month or two free only if you sign up for a year or whatever. AIM is free.

AOL is not free yet, but the company has decided to offer most of it's prducts free-- so keep an eye for it, it will be free.
