If it was a crime or something shouldn't they be in the Witness protection program? If they were in that program, would they still be allowed to come knocking on your door? What if you recognized them?

I'm in the Jehovah's Witness Protection Program. They gave me five acres and a big dog. Haven't seen any since.

Sounds like Toys R Us really needs to get a clue about who Jehovah's Witnesses are and what they actually believe and teach. Try visiting the website. We don't tell people they're going to burn in hell, especially since the Bible teaches nothing of the sort for anyone anyway.

We witness about God's Kingdom and the wonderful blessings it will bring to us and the earth. Here are just a few:
Psalms 37:9-11 is a wonderful promise from God: "For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."
And at Micah 4:4 we are promised: " But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it."
Psalms 46:9: "He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth-"
Isaiah 11:6,9: "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."

A guy I work with was raised as a Jehovah's Witness( but has regained his senses) and from what I took from him was that they only are to care about is basically them selves. The rest of us are all going to hell, and theirs nothing for us to stop it. So I want to know is WHY do they come door to door to "save us"?

Jehovah's Witnesses bear witness concerning Jehovah, His Godship, and His purposes.

(Isaiah 43:10) “You are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah

(Isaiah 43:12) So you are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.

(Hebrews 12:1-2) Because we have so great a cloud of [Jehovah's] witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus

(Revelation 1:5) Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness”

Really, everyone who respects and obeys Jesus Christ goes from door to door to teach his neighbors about the Bible's good news. It is interesting that only Jehovah's Witnesses are so clearly identified with the preaching work; globally more than 6 million preach publicly each month.

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.

(Acts 5:42) Every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.

(Acts 20:20) I did not hold back ...from teaching you publicly and from house to house

Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?

(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

The name Jehovah's Witnesses was taken from Isaiah 43:10,11 which reads, (10)"You are my witnesses" is the utterance of Jehovah, "even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that you may know and have faith in me, and that you may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. (11)I--I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior. "

Oh sure they would be allowed, because some people have special privileges. Christians will often act like that. You know, it's that "do as I say, not as I do" thing.

Don't give it a second thought. If you recognize them, well, then you're one step ahead of them.

you are totally out of line. Don't take jabs at people's religion. That's childish.
