The new testament is not "the scriptures" according to Jesus.

Everyone knows they're some wicked scriptures in the old testament. Why did Mr. good Jesus glorify them?

The New Testament IS NOT "the scriptures"

Jesus, Peter and Paul advised their followers to "search" and to "study" the scriptures. This was strictly the Old Testament volume record. The writings that men call the New Testament today were not even written. They ARE NOT "the scriptures"! Some of you, who have previously ignored GN posts, may be STUNNED at this revelation. The canonically accepted writings which we call the New Testament are completely ….. NON-SCRIPTURAL! The New Testament is Rome and Catholic approved according to what the Dragon allowed, but the writings are not "the Holy Scriptures"! I will give you a few minutes to pick yourself up from the floor and clear your head

Looks like you're stuck with the evil old testament.

God and Jesus are fake. I'm just having a little fun

wow, you just found the huge flaw with christianity; discovered the big question no one has ever asked before!
please, i've definitely heard this before, and many others like it.
please open your mind a teensy bit while i explain why the new testament is considered part of divine revalation. [this'll take a while since i have to explain EVERYTHING, in simple terms.]
scripture is basically divine revelation, God's way of sending a message to his people through a prophet/messenger. which of the many writings that have been found are actually the inspired word of God--now that's a little more complicated.
the scriptures from the old testament were chosen by the judges and leaders of the isrealites. back then, God was a little more blunt than he is nowadays, because of the change in mentality and all that. so they'd basically go up to these mountains or whatever and God would actually tell them what to do. these scriptures were part of what he told them.
now, when Jesus came to earth, he didn't want to leave humanity alone. so, along with a lot of other things, he left behind a governing hierarchy that would be like the prophets of old--the magisterium and the pope. [in case you're wondering where he said that, check matthew 16:18 'and you are peter and on this rock i will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.' doesn't get any clearer than that.]
so in the 500s, all these gospels and various epistles were floating around. some were genuine--the ones now considered the old testament--and some were fake--eg the gospel of thomas, the gospel of judas, etc.
now, the church realized this, and decided to have a few meetings to sort it out. they discussed it, researched it, and finally came to a decision. [i think it was in the council of trent. but i'm not sure.]
now, why do catholics and some christians [not necessarily all christians. some have rejected certain books of the bible] believe that a bunch of old white guys from the middle ages were right?
think about it. if scripture is God's inspired word, then he wants us to read it and not some faker's work. so he'll help the council members and bishops along and make sure that they arrive at the right conclusion. i mean, why wouldn't he do this--he does want us to do what's right, correct?

so there's your answer. looks like you're on the floor now.
