in maths muslims contributed to algerbra geometry trigonometry and lots more....the words algerbra, algorithm, alkaline, and 'zero' are a few english words that have their roots in arabic.........if it wasnt for us we would still be using roman numerals....
muslims invented telescopes magnifying lenses watches and the list goes on...............................

I agree with you, if any body had studied history , specially the middle ages which were named the dark ages in Europe.
it was a period of dark in Europe and of light in the Arab world.. To the extent that an Euroupian ruler came to visit the Muslim Caliph and the Caliph was so friendly to him and showed him many inventions and when that ruler saw a watch,, he got shocked and though it might had a genni in it or else why it keeps moving!!!
no one can deny that the Algorithm word came from the name of the Arab Muslim scientist Algawarithmi, and Algebra took its name from Algabarti who was Arabic and Muslim too,
Who deny that Ibn Roshd Who lived in Spain (which was ruled by Muslims) is a great philosopher and his teatchings are still be taught in many Academies all over the world?
About terrorism, I am not defending it any way.. But who said that it was the invention of Arabs?? Have they invented Nuclear Bombs? or bacteriological weapons?? or maybe killed kids in Lebanon or women in Iraq?? and claim that others are hiding missiles in hospitals to blow them up??
if we think much more we will know who is the real terrorist.. and who came with peace!!
Islam never asks their people to be in war..
it is calling for peace,, but what if somebody are going to steal your land,, and kills u if you say no,, would you just keep smiling while handing him your land?? or defend your family and your land??
and About what are Muslims are doing now with all inventions they made,,, they are trying to live in peace and use them and invent more too ,, but as happening in Iraq,, somebody (!!) thinks they need help and come to kill them.... and make them fight against...
In Palestine which is being changed now to be Israel,, and in every map its name is disappearing,, should its people accept that easily?????????
what if another country made the same to USA?? would the American citizens surrunder??

Everyone of these had been given to Islam by the Hindus.
Do you research with just a little bit of honesty. The present so called Arabic number have now been proved to have been Hindu in origin. The 'zero' was first used by the Hindus. Algebra as you claim was in fact developed by a Hindu called Aryabhata. See website. Every aspect of Mathematics was discovered by the Hindus and over the years spread to the Islamic lands and then to Europe.
You just need to have your mind open to the truth. Who had really invented the radio communications? The world thinks it was Marconi. Please see the second website given here. Muslims don't invent anything except new ways to opt out of their old laws when they get in the way of doing what they want. People invent. New discoveries are made by people thinking in new ways and having new ideas. Religions don't have any new ideas, only old ones. The people who invent do so in their capacity as intelligent and thoughtful human beings, not as affiliates of any religion.

But if you insist on putting Muslim on the heading of your list you can cross watches off it for a start.

its true they did. At the time they were very modern, addaptive and foward thinking. Many emisarries were sent all over the world to further their learning.
muslims have not been like that for 1000's of years. They are stuck in 89BC. Since those times only Christians have contributed to modern society as they looked to the way Islam used to be and evolved.
Islamic thought, teachings and law have not joined the 21st century. Until it adapts itself and becomes forward thinking again no muslims will have anything significant to contribute to the world other than killing

Yes muslims, or the middle east cultures invented all that stuff, but what are they doing with it, did they actually use it for any actual good? and what are they doing now? fighting amongst themselves as usual, they also invented democracy, but seem to have forgotten how to use that as well.

they started off on a good course really concentrating on making the world better. they got off course somewhere, i think their religion asks to much of them. they concentrate on war...all the time war. what religion asks you to give your son or husband to it. who sends their kids into a building with a bomb strapped to them. at least here you are free to pray to whoever you want. when everyone figures out that there is no other world we go to after death wont they feel dumb for killing all of their children
