Oh good grief on answers using religion! How shameful of you to give a sales pitch for your dogma when I'm asking for help for a friend in crisis.

Most forums or chat that offer support for people who self-harm strongly discourage members from going to the forum if they're feeling in crisis. The reason is because it's triggering for other members and the members aren't qualified counselors.
If you're having a tough time dealing with self-harm then you need to find a good therapist who can help you work on coping skills. If you're already seeing a therapist then work on a crisis plan to follow whenever you really feel like harming yourself.

If you keep working on and practicing skills to cope with the stresses that trigger these urges then the urges will lessen over time...trust me.

Don't go to forums to read this kind of crap....If your planning it, call 911 and ask for help. Taking your life is the BIGGEST sin you can do, and even though you may believe it's your easy way out...It will be the worst you've EVER lived eternally!!!

I don't mean to sound trite, if I knew of a forum I would pass it along to you, but there is a God in Heaven whom you can call on 24/7 through prayer in the name of Jesus.
He loves you and wants to free you from this harmful habit and He can do it too if you will just call on Him in faith and ask to receive the Holy Spirit of Christ who will give you new life and freedom.
Jesus said "And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
