Why don't you try and do yoga with her. I understand about people bottleing anger up inside. My ex has done it so many times, and I felt like I could not help him. Try painting class with her, or buy canvas and brushes and paints. I'm an artist and I love to paint when I'm sad, or mad. The colors play as emotions, and I think it can help her out alot. Wait, an birthday and just because day, that could be a gift you could buy her. And she might start painting on her own. Her feeling and anger will come out on paper. I know this sounds silly, but I've gone through alot of problems in my life and painting or writing has helped me the most. She needs relaxation and focus. That's why I said, try Yoga. Her anger might be deeper then you realise. hope this helps, just try it please.

Bottling up anger is secondary. It is important to determine the cause of the anger. It is usually due to feeling undervalued.

Getting someone to vent is not the idea. Getting someone to communicate how they feel is.

Allow about 10 minutes to discuss an issue, then get off the phone.

She is the one who has to deal with it. She's on her way to illness if she continues to carry anger around so much.

Try talking to her about it when she's not angry. Tell her how much you care about her well being and what suppressed anger can do to her.

If she hears and understand, she'll try to change. But it will take some time.

The answer is that you shouldn't have to deal with this behavior. Your girlfriend might benefit from seeing a counselor or psychologist. Sometimes it might only take one or two visits for a person to realize the impact of self-defeating behaviors.

I have the same problem as you!! it sucks My friends suck too, but i realised that nothings gonna change if i dont change! So you need to get up, hold your head high and just go out there and do your thing! study hard and you will graduate and get a good job. you dont need friends, you are independent and you will make i without anyone stopping you! and rememeber pray to God to guide you. Take care! xx

You shouldn't have to deal with it...really. I've been in a similar relationship. Make it work if it REALLY can, but if not...you just gotta let go.
