Just a bunch of leftover vegetables put together like carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower. Are you referring to the commercial with all the guys boasting about eating meat and the one guy holds up his broccoli and says "vegetable medley?"

Although I can't be sure because some people call one thing vegetable medley and others have something else by that name. But, vegetable medley, to my way of thinking, is either a cold dish or a hot dish. Cold it is like a salad, or a three-bean salad, but it has vegetables like asparagus, blanched carrots, cauliflower and broccoli spears all thin-sliced and typically served in a light vinaigrette. Hot vegetable medley is basically the same thing, but with some added things like mushrooms and red pepper, cooked but not too long served as a side dish while the cold dish can be an entire lunch meal. This at least is how I think of vegetable medley. And it's making me hungry even now.

Usually three or more different vegetables that taste good together. The more colorful the mix, the better it seems to taste. Not combos like cooked spinach, cooked cabbage and green peas. Yech.
Good mixes:
Cauliflower, broccoli, red peppers
Zucchini, tomatoes, onions
Raw spinach, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes.
