one most exciting time was just meeting thai people for the first time. most thai i have seen are friendly and helpful. im always happy when i can go to thailand to relax. some people go for sex, but that is a waste of time. if you want sex you can get it in your own country. good to see a thai person here on yahoo answers i have seen a few others also.

Food and Thai massage is THE exciting thing for me in Thailand. I'm a lazy tourist so don't take much advantage of the beautiful country, but the food and real Thai massage is pure bliss for me. I'm a big guy for a reason, I love to eat, and food does not get much better than in Thailand. I love to relax too, and would get at least a couple two hour massages per day. So, to sum it up in a moment, well after a day of total bliss and figured out I only spent about $25 USD, that would be that one exciting moment knowing I could afford to do it every day I was there!

Ive been to Thailand many times as I live in Hong Kong, and in all my trips i've had so many exciting moments its difficult to think of just one.

Drinking and debauchery aside I think seeing the King and his police escort go past was quite special, stroking and feeding baby elephants was cool, running out of fuel in my hired speedboat 5 miles off pattaya was scary but exciting, shooting Uzi's at live chickens was a buzz, driving into Cambodia in a jeep without a visa was a laugh, taking a night train from Bangkok to Surat Thani high on Speed was a giggle.

I could go on forever.

Probably getting drunk with a bunch of Thai girls in Koh Samui and then they gave me a ride back to the hotel so there were 3 girls, all hammered, on the back of a motor bike. When I got to my hotel I did a face plant of the side walk. I just remember this one Thai girl going, "ohh, I so worried. I so worried about you." They were really nice because I was a girl traveling alone. They came up to me in a bar and asked me to join them. They were were so nice. I felt bad because I wanted to buy some drinks but they would hardly let me.

having my appendix out, the doctors thought I was some stupid kid eating things that my stomach did not agree with but two weeks later my host took me in. after that I would say going to a village within view of Burma and passing the check points, having every conversation translated into 4 languages. and eating very spicy raw papaya salad on a very hot day. phom chaup ahan phet! I almost fainted. aloy.
