I have seen persons that really make you wonder, but the best thing to do, if you cannot detrmine sex, by looking is to ignore that person if possible. There are things you can do depending upon whether or not you are a boy or a girl. If you are a girl, you might spot some guy and make a reamark to the effect that he is cute. The response will tell you whether that person is male or female. If you are a male, just ogle some female and make the same statement.

Yes, very much!

It especially bothers me when there is a little kid, like between the ages of 4 - 7, whose parents have given them a haircut and a name that leaves you with no hint of their gender. How am I supposed to know if Riley with hair to their ears is a boy or a girl?

this will happen every once in a while and it really flusters me in a sense of why do you make your appearance so difficult for people to see who you really are.
but whats even worse is when you see 2 people kissing and you assume its a guy and a girl, and then you realize its not. thats bad.

Never happened to me. Sometimes looks can be deceiving but I can usually figure out immediately. Just pay attention!

If I'm still clueless, I'll go with my instinct. Too bad if I mistaken that person's identity.

Are you trying to figure out a transgender person? Other than that, it shouldn't be difficult to distingush a boy from a girl vice versa.

I've never really cared much either way if someone I'm talking to wants to present them selves as either gender then i don't see how that should effect how i feel about them . a person is a person and whats between their legs should be the least of your concerns .

YES!!!

But the WORST time ever was when I was at this amusement park and I was just in a talking mood. So I thought these two girls were bf and gf, since one looked exactly like a boy!!

The girl told me that that was a girl and it was her cousin. I was sooo embarrassed. And to top it off, it was my friends cousin.

:/

I had it happen to me once. They told me his/her name and I still couldn't tell, because the name was ambiguous too. I was filling the application and asking the questions. Didn't know to check the 'M' or the 'F' box.

Finally SHE grabbed the pen from my hand and took the paper and filled in the boxes and spelled her name correctly and said to me, "Yo white people are so stupid".

yes it does, because you dont know how to address them. ive been seeing it alot lately. if snl did a skit on that, it must be pretty common. a friend if mine was short-4ft 10in. his voice never changed, and he had no facial hair. he was constantly mistook for a female. it did piss him off. unfortunately theres no answer to the problem other than having your gender printed on a t-shirt or a baseball cap.

Yes, and what really gets me is when I guessed wrong. This can be soooo embarrassing if you're out on a date. Man, I hate it when that happens.
