My bf and I have been together for 2 years. I live with my father (due to some reasons) and he used to stay here all the time in the first year we were together, and now he doesn't even stay here 3 nights now. Could it be a phase he is going through or should I get my own place to make it better?

Yeah, I'd say it's both too. You probably should get your own place, but I'd explore the other reasons he's not hanging out with you so much anymore. Don't try guessing- just come right out and ask him. There may be more going on that you need to know about.

Yes all relationships go through hard times, have a serious talk with him without accusations. Ask hime if he still wants to be with you. There may be another reason why he doesn't stay over as often, it may be that he feels uncomfortable staying at your dads.

yes, all relationships go through tough times. it either makes them stronger or breaks them up. if you can afford your own place, go for it. that won't guarantee that all will be better, though. you should talk to him about what's going on...
