Dan Brown is rather vague on the matter in 'The da Vinci Code'.
All that seems clear is that the Druids are still busy "sacrificing"/robbing/ "exchanging", including the traders at the New York Stock Exchange.
Did you see the well-heeled people in 'Eyes Wide Shut'?
'The da Vinci Code' does not tell us enough about the doctrine of the Cult of the Excommunicated Monks of Robert the Bruce, including its yin and yang Gnostic ideology, where good and bad have to always be kept in equal amounts and proportion.
It does not tell us enough about the human "sacrifice" that still goes on among the Freemasons, or "stonecutters".
